PARK RIDGE PONY CLUB

  Has been around since 1969

December 2012 -a devastating blow to the local Club.  Park Ridge Pony Club has well and truly had some set backs but this one was mighty.  A fire believed to have started in the old store room destroyed history and equipment that the club has had for years. After many attempted breakins and destruction from Vandals the committee and it's members wanted a much more secure building.  Addidtions was engaged as the contractor to take on this job and with the help from the local businesses listed below we now have a fantastic new strong clubhouse.  After the fire in 2012 the committee was determined to not be beat and continued to push on through seeking a demountable from Coats Hire to operate as their clubhouse and canteen.  After two years of struggle and hardwork the Clubhouse was finally handed over to the club in 2014.  The structure and fittings of the clubhouse were complete but there was still plenty to do.  In order to build such a building the club committee decided to cut costs and raise funds at a later date for items such as painting, floor coverings, furniture, etc   To this very day we are still working towards raising funds for floor coverings and painting of the upstairs and storage areas of the clubhouse.  The very next day after handover we held our annual Hack Show.  All hands were needed on deck this afternoon before the show to get in and prepare for the show.  With a small crew of volunteers the members of Park Ridge Pony Club made it.  As our motto says "Effort Gets Results"
